Nice award for Teammate “A project that is close to our hearts”

The Lagkamrat project, with Sunpine as one of the initiators, has been named Community Project of the Year.

“We know that the activities in Lagkamrat are very appreciated by all parties here in Piteå,” says Magnus Edin, CEO at Sunpine. It is very nice that the project is now also receiving national attention.
The Teammate project is based on a collaboration between sports, business and society and gives women better opportunities to play sports at an elite level while contributing to a richer life for the elderly.
Other nominees in the Community Project of the Year category were the well-known projects Ronjabollen (TRIS – Girls' Rights in Society) and Gräsroten (Svenska Spel's "return" to sports clubs).

Everyone becomes a winner
The justification states, among other things, "The project where everyone becomes a winner." This refers to a crisis-ridden elderly care system that, through Lagkamrat and sponsors with social responsibility, gains positive contact with the outside world. Other winners are the women's football players who receive a reasonable monthly salary and relieve the clubs financially. Overall, there will be benefits for society at large.
-We choose very carefully who we sponsor and which initiatives we invest in. Lagkamrat is a project that is very close to our hearts and where we have been a main sponsor from the start.
The summary of the Sports Year is made annually by the magazine Sport & Affärer and Here you can read more about the winners in the other classes..
