New larger laboratory inaugurated

The first stage of SunPine's expansion is complete. The new lab was inaugurated and celebrated.

– The need for analysis and control has only increased over the years, notes a satisfied Valeri Naydenov, Development Manager, SunPine.

2019 is a year that at SunPine has been characterized by "sorry for the mess, we're rebuilding", but now the move-in and inauguration have begun. First up was a brand new laboratory built next to the new office premises on Haraholmen in Piteå, which has been given a brand new floor.

Development Manager Valeri Naydenov was very pleased with the investment:

– This is probably the third lab in the series and we see that the need has only increased over the years. It feels fantastic to be able to inaugurate it today and I know that the new lab will have a great significance for our future SunPine.

Naydenov then took the opportunity to toast the new lab with test tubes, which CEO Magnus Edin drank from with a smile before saying:

– I would like to thank all the staff who worked on the entire move and who made it possible for us to put our new laboratory into use. It might be useful to stop for a moment like this and celebrate, there is so much happening here right now that you get a little dizzy. We are in an expansive phase with major investments.

After the summer holidays, the plan is for a brand new office to be inaugurated and the new second factory is expected to be completed in 2020. An investment program of over 400 million will then be in place.
