Process engineer

Sunpine is the world's largest producer of crude tall oil diesel – and we are growing. We are now looking for a process engineer for our production department. Are you our new colleague?
At Sunpine, we take a residual product from the forest and turn it into a raw material for biofuels and other renewable products. Our production process is protected by around 90 patents and is almost completely fossil-free. We are now looking for a process engineer who can drive the operational development to ensure safe, sustainable and optimized production.
As a process engineer At Sunpine you will produce calculations and data for feasibility studies, trials and optimizations. You work with process engineering calculations, simulations and flow charts, produce technical specifications and functional descriptions for equipment and systems, and act as support for project management and purchasing in procurements. You carry out risk analyses and develop processes and methods.
The role reports directly to the Head of Production Engineering. You are part of the production department, but also work closely with the maintenance, project and logistics departments.
We are looking for you who has an academic education in a technical engineering field or equivalent experience. You have experience in advanced or larger projects, report writing and digitalization initiatives and/or process calculations. Experience with HAZOP or ASA, knowledge of process flow charts and previous work in the process industry - preferably a refinery - is an advantage. You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and you have good knowledge of Excel.
As a person, you are proactive, clear, structured and have good collaboration skills. You are analytical and enjoy solving complex problems, while having the ability to drive work forward in an independent and methodical manner.
