Technical Manager

The world needs to quickly phase out its dependence on fossil fuels in favor of more sustainable alternatives. This is the foundation of Sunpine's business. Sunpine is the world's largest producer of crude tall oil diesel, an important part of the more sustainable energy mix of the future.

Today we are in an intensive development phase where innovation, sustainable growth, high production efficiency and continued environmental leadership go hand in hand. We are now looking for a Technical Manager who will be mandated to lead and further develop our technical department.

As Technical Manager You are responsible for ensuring Sunpine's technical competence and continuous development within plant, process, product and raw material. You have full operational, budgetary and personnel responsibility for the technical department. You report to the CEO and are part of Sunpine's management team.

Process and product development are central parts of the assignment. The role also includes R&D work. You will initiate and drive research and development projects and represent Sunpine in external networks to monitor developments in areas such as refinery, crude tall oil and biofuel.

We are looking for you who, with commitment, business acumen and good leadership, wants to run a technology department in a growth industry with high demand. As a basis, you have a master's degree in chemistry or technology and experience of leadership in the industry. Experience of development projects in process, plant or product is an asset.

We believe that you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to engage and lead others to success in a non-prestigious way. You are strategic, see the big picture and show good judgment in your work and leadership. Furthermore, you are persistent and analytical with strong problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in future technology and sustainability issues, and who is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
