Operations Manager

The world needs to quickly phase out its dependence on fossil fuels in favor of more sustainable alternatives. This is the foundation of Sunpine's business. Sunpine is the world's largest producer of crude tall oil diesel, an important part of the sustainable energy mix of the future.

Today we are in an intensive development phase where innovation, sustainable growth, high production efficiency and continued environmental leadership go hand in hand. We are now looking for a Chief Operating Officer – a key person who will have the opportunity to shape the role and develop our future operational structure.

As Operations Manager You have overall responsibility for production and maintenance – including personnel, budget and operations. You lead the operational work with a focus on efficient operation, optimized maintenance and continuous improvement. The role also includes implementing investments, developing working methods and processes and ensuring that we deliver according to the customer's specifications. At the same time, you are responsible for ensuring that our facilities are technically documented, safe, environmentally friendly and future-proof. You report to the CEO and are part of Sunpine's management team.

The role involves close collaboration with other functions within the company, and networking and supplier meetings are a natural part of the assignment. We therefore hope that you enjoy building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally.

We are looking for you who, with commitment, good leadership and business acumen, wants to run and develop our operational business in a growth industry with high demand. As a basis, you have a university degree in technology or equivalent experience as well as management experience from the manufacturing industry. Experience in systematic maintenance work and process control in production is an asset.

To succeed in the role, you are confident in your leadership and have the ability to engage and lead others to success in a non-prestigious way. You are determined, persistent and strategic and show good judgment in your work and in your leadership. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. The location is Piteå. We offer the opportunity for hybrid work and also have an office in Luleå.
