Veronica has worked at SunPine since 2012. Started as a logistician and now works with sustainability.

– I am challenged and motivated by my work and have fantastic colleagues.

Can you tell us briefly about what you do at SunPine?

I work in the Quality, Environment and Safety department as a Sustainability Coordinator. My focus areas are greenhouse gas calculations, legal compliance and ensuring that we meet our sustainability certifications. I also assist in investigations regarding work environment and environmental issues within the company.

What is it about your job at SunPine that motivates you?

Above all, because I feel that my work makes a difference and is for a good cause. I am often faced with challenges in my work, which I personally like, can be what keeps me motivated in my work. Motivation always comes in waves, especially when you have been at a company for a long time. But thanks to committed and responsive employees, we help each other to keep motivation up.

How would you describe the work environment?

At SunPine we have a high safety mindset which is also reflected in our statistics on accidents and incidents. In recent years we have also placed great focus on well-being, the working climate and how we behave towards each other. I think this has yielded great results, which is also shown by the figures in our latest employee survey.

And what is the atmosphere like between colleagues?

I think it's very good. We respect and care about each other.

If someone was curious about starting a job at SunPine and asked you what it was like, what would you say?

I have been asked this question many times and I say as I have always said: At SunPine you have great opportunities to develop in whatever position you apply for. The company's willingness to let its employees develop is great. If you are committed as a person, open to new thinking, creative and dare to question for greater understanding, you will be well taken care of. SunPine also ensures that life outside of work works and the managers are very supportive in many ways.

Other 

SunPine is a young company and, like many other growing companies, has also had growing pains in the organization at times. I am happy to see that we have managed to ride out many of the storms that have been and look with great confidence to what is to come. The company in general and also our plans for further development of more sustainable products in the future feel exciting and challenging.
