After working at SunPine for many years, but for another employer, Thomas took the step in 2020 to become a real SunPine employee.

– It is an incredibly nice working environment that we are constantly trying to improve.

Can you tell us briefly about what you do at SunPine?

I work as a maintenance mechanic at SunPine and my duties are to maintain and service equipment within the facility.

What is it about your job at SunPine that motivates you?

I find my work interesting, developing and we get our ideas heard.

How would you describe a day at work?

This can range from routine maintenance to service and renovation of production equipment.
Right now we are building the workplace of the future. There we are trying to optimize and develop our working methods. This means that we will have a workshop and a factory that will be easier to work in. It also means that our equipment will last longer.
We have a nice working environment that we are constantly trying to improve. We keep things clean and orderly. Every thing has its place within the facility.
Chemicals and equipment that we use within the facility must be approved before they can be used and we try to find the products that are best for our environment.

And what is the atmosphere like between colleagues?

At SunPine we have high ceilings and a warm and family atmosphere. We all try to help each other and we stand up for each other when needed.
I just have to say that I have wonderful coworkers who are happy and nice and there is always room for laughter.
